EDDIE Harper first strapped a pair of a roller hockey boots onto his feet when he was just four and now he's competed in the UK roller national championships.
Eddie, eight, of Gawber, came away from the weekend winning the most valuable player award which was chosen by tournament referees.
Eddie, who plays in-line or roller hockey for Norton Cyclones, based in Rotherham, also plays ice hockey and was inspired to take up both sports after watching his older brother William, 13.
