THERE is no stopping entries for this year's Proud of Barnsley awards - they are coming in thick and fast.
If you are Proud of Barnsley and want to give someone the recognition they deserve then nominate them today.
There are 13 categories: carer of the year, charity fundraiser of the year, children's champion, community group, exceptional achievement, new business start-up, hospital hero, school of the year, sporting achievement, sports team of the year, triumph over adversity, volunteer of the year and young superstar.
Nominations can be submitted by post - contact the Chronicle for an entry form - or by e-mailing lynsey.bradford@barnsley-chronicle.co.uk
Included should be the nominee's name, address and contact details and a statement about why they are being nominated.Please ask the person/group for permission to nominate them for an award before putting them forward.
