A TEENAGER has died from a severe allergic reaction to nuts after eating at a Barnsley restaurant with his girlfriend.

Dylan Hill, 18, of John Street, Thurnscoe, collapsed on Sunday - an hour after dining at an Indian restaurant.

He had not taken his medication out with him and his devastated family now want to warn others with allergies about the dangers of not carrying EpiPens - disposable pre-fillled injections which help decrease the body's allergic reaction.

Dylan's father Anthony Robinson, and stepmother Kayte, said he had been strict about checking food packaging, but had become more relaxed as he got older.
