A PRIMARY school which is undergoing extensive redevelopment will open the doors to its latest addition next week.
Holy Rood Catholic Primary School, on Shaw Street, has undergone extensive building work over the last six months, and will unveil its new foundation stage unit at an open afternoon next Monday.
The new unit includes a nursery and a foundation stage two classroom, as well as new toilets and changing facilities.
The unit is part of wider redevelopment at the school which involves a new library and community room, with the next stage of development being to create a new outdoor learning environment.
Parents, carers and those looking for future nursery or school places are invited to look around the new unit, and have afternoon tea in the new community room, on Monday from 2.30pm.
