BARNSLEY FC legend Arjan De Zeeuw was back in town this week.

The Dutch defender, now 44, was a fans' favourite during his time with the Reds, for whom he made 164 appearances from 1995-99.

De Zeeuw – now a police detective in Holland – has been staying in Barnsley for the last three nights while visiting friends in England.

He spent Thursday at Oakwell where he caught up with Danny Wilson, who was his manager when the Reds got to the Premiership in 1997.
