A FATHER left with serious health problems after suffering a massive stroke and having to wait more than an hour for an ambulance has been told he is fit for work.
Kenny Bailey, 50, of Cobcar Lane, Elsecar, is waiting for an operation to have a metal plate inserted to reshape his skull and protect his brain following emergency surgery to reduce swelling amid fears he would not survive.
He is also paralysed on his left side, has a severe limp and has concentration and memory problems.

Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
