GANGS of intimidating youths are arming themselves with missiles and attacking buses and cars in Barnsley - forcing a bus company to divert its service.
It is happening on Doncaster Road, a busy main road out of town leading towards Stairfoot, where bus company First has diverted its 22 service to avoid attacks.
The bus, which runs from Rotherham to Barnsley via Manvers, Wath, Wombwell and Stairfoot, was targeted again on Tuesday evening.
It is the second provider in Barnsley to be affected by yobbish antics. In January, Stagecoach threatened to withdraw the number 6 bus through Kendray due to a wave of antisocial behaviour.
