A GIRL guide has been booted off Facebook because someone reported her for being underage after she used it to appeal to businesses for raffle prizes for a fund-raising event for the guides.
Katie Booth, 11, wanted to help raise money for St Helen’s church, Laithes Lane, Athersley South, where her guide unit is based.
She used Facebook to contact businesses across Barnsley and her charm soon paid off - she’s amassed 15 top quality prizes the raffle already.
But she was aiming for 25 and was dismayed to learn this week that her Facebook account has been blocked.
