SHE may be gone but Lily Grace Cunliffe will never be forgotten - that’s the promise Lily’s granddad Danny Beever has made.

Danny and his family’s world collapsed three years ago when Lily died from a brain tumour aged three - just days before she would have turned four.

But Danny and many of those close to Lily have raised thousands of pounds since in Lily’s name to help other families through times of crisis.

Danny is now in the process of establishing the Lily Grace Cunliffe Foundation, and as a result two Barnsley boys with serious illnesses, and their families, are about to enjoy a holiday together in the Lake District.

“Our ultimate aim is to get enough money together to buy our own static caravan somewhere, to send families off to go and have a bit of respite and to just get some time away,” said Danny, of Willow Close, Hoyland.
