GREEN Party leader Natalie Bennett met dozens of residents and community volunteers on her whistle stop tour of Barnsley.
Green Party activists took their party leader around the borough on Friday to meet people including volunteers behind the Barnsley Churches Drop In project, Springvale Community Garden, and the YMCA.
“It was really great to have Natalie here and it’s certainly raised the profile of the Green Party in Barnsley,” said Dale Turner, who is standing for the party in the May local elections.

Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
