A GRILL Pit restaurant is opening in Barnsley but the location is being kept 'top secret' until the keys for the venue are handed over.
The Wakefield-based eatery is a popular haunt for meat lovers and specialises in burgers and steaks, and grills or home-smokes most of its food.
Manager Ian Straker confirmed it is expanding in to the town but can't reveal where it will be just yet.
"All being well we get the keys on July 14 and will announce where it is then. Providing all goes to plan we are hoping for a four week turnaround before opening."
The restaurant is in the the planning stages for decorating the Barnsley venue and is hoping to carry out the same family theme of pits and miners like in the Wakefield restaurant.
