A REVOLUTIONARY new brand of healthy foods free from wheat, dairy and gluten has won the Chronicle's Barnsley Means Business Competition.

FitEx has won a year's free office space and advertising worth up to £10,000 after coming out top in the search to find the most promising entrepreneurial start-up in Barnsley.

The firm aims to be a household name among people looking for a wide range of foods from gym-targeted protein bars to supermarket ready meals which will always be free of wheat, dairy and gluten and manufactured using only natural ingredients.
