ANIMAL rescue staff are desperate to find a new home for these two broken-hearted dogs who are struggling with life in kennels following the death of their owner.

Pugsly, a 12-year-old pug cross, and his pal Finley, a seven-year-old greyhound cross, are with Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity and staff there are keen to find them a new home to live out their twilight years.

Kerry said the two dogs are used to a quiet house with no young children or cats and love being walked. A permanent home would be best for them but a long term foster home would also be considered.

Finley and Puglsy can be viewed at the kennels, on Station Road, from 11am-3pm, seven days a week.
