A NINE-month old baby and her mum can sleep easily again now this fluffy bunny has returned home safely.

The bunny was bought for Amy Edwards 20 years ago when she was ten, after her dad died.

She then gave it to her baby nephew Joshua Edwards, who is now 18, and it had in turn been given to Amy's baby daughter Mia, who lost it in town on Monday.

Amy, of Old Oaks View, Kenrday, posted the photograph on Facebook hoping to find it. She got a message from a lady who thought she might have seen it in Next and she phoned the store to find it had been handed in there.

"It's got such a sentimental value to me, and Mia just loves it."

Amy said she had a 'happy baby' again and was grateful to the person who handed it in.
