MEET MIss Holly Jowitt - the youngest and liveliest resident of a local care home.
The black spaniel is an integral part of the team at Epworth House care home in Thurnscoe- she has her own bed in the manager's office and makes sure every residents get some quality loving time.
Holly moved into the home after being rescued by Chloe Jowitt - whose mum Tracey is manager of the home.
Chloe noticed the thin abandoned dog hanging around a bus stop and took her to the family home in Royston.
"I first brought her to work with me because I didn't want to leave her at home on her own and I knew how therapeutic dogs can be for elderly and sick people," she said.
"Just stroking a dog is good for the heart, it's good for blood pressure and the pleasure people get from having her here is plain to see.
"Holly is only about two so she can still be a bit giddy at times, but she seems to sense when our residents need her be to be quiet.
"She trots around visiting everyone and it's a joy to see the delight on residents' faces as they stroke and pat her."
