DOCTORS and nurses from Barnsley Hospice Clinical Team will be taking part in the Hospice Cannon Hall Run next month.
A team of six including a consultant, doctors and nurses are running the 10k race on Sunday September 4 to raise funds for the hospice.
Dr Clare Farrington, specialist consultant in palliative medicine at the hospice, said: “Being involved in the 10k run is a great way to support vital fundraising. We are so grateful to all those who fundraise and volunteer which enables us to continue to provide compassionate expert care for the patients with life limiting illnesses across Barnsley with our inpatient unit, day centre, and services in hospital and in the community.”
