THE LIKELIHOOD of Hoyland getting another supermarket appear to have faded with developers now ready to divide the Market Street site up into a series of smaller units.
That could ultimately result in restaurants as well as shops appearing within the structure which is currently just a steel skeleton on the edge of the old market site.
When construction started earlier this year it was being built as a Netto store, but when Sainsburys pulled the plug on that arm of their business, worked was halted.
