THE INQUEST on a cyclist who died during the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire Sportive has been adjourned.
David Worthington, 51, from Ackworth, West Yorkshire, was taking part in the amateur cycling event when he was struck by a coach which was pulling out on to Finkle Street Lane near Wortley.
The crash happened on April 30, and Mr Worthington was badly injured. He died in hospital six days later.
