FUNDRAISING in memory of a little boy who died from a rare medical condition has topped £3,000.

Shannon Lambert, aged ten and 11-year-old Morgan Jones completed a ten mile walk to raise money in memory of Jack Linford.Jack died last September aged just two-years-old.

Jack suffered from VLCAD - a rare genetic condition which prevents the body from converting certain fats to energy. His older brother Alex, aged five, also suffers from the rare and life-limiting genetic condition.

His parents Laura and Simon from Samuel Road, Gawber, said concentrating on raising awareness of the condition and funds to help support other families was their way of trying to cope with their overwhelming grief.
