Jacob Brown has been given a new deal with Barnsley under 2021.
The 20-year-old has played 17 matches for the Reds this season, in his usual position up front as well as at right-back as head coach Daniel Stendel is attempting to convert him into a defender.
Brown told the Chronicle: “I am definitely happy to sign a new contract. It just shows the club has faith in me and they are happy with how I have done."
