BARNSLEY midfielder Dale Jennings has forced himself back into the Oakwell reckoning this week.

The midfielder, who had been struggling with injury, played well when brought on in the FA Cup tie against Chester FC.

He then scored a smashing individual effort for the Under 21s against Huddersfield.

"It has been a frustrating season for Dale but hopefully he will build his fitness up now and after Christmas we will all see what he is really capable of," said manager Danny Wilson.

Under 21 boss Paul Heckingbottom added: "It was a really good goal and he was a threat on the counter-attack. He is coming back from injury so needs to get fit and he applied himself really well."
