A SHAFTON school’s kickboxing brothers have won the biggest titles of their budding careers.
Outwood Academy students Brogan Wilson, 15, and 13-year-old Blaine are now European and world champions respectively after they triumphed at the International Combat Organisation (ICO) championships at the Metrodome on Saturday.
Brogan, who beat Ireland’s top youngster in the 66kg category, won via a unanimous decision after five two-minute rounds to be crowned Europe’s top 15-year-old before he watched Blaine defeat a three-time Spanish national champion with a third-round technical knockout to become the ICO world champion in the 35kg division.
