UP TO 86 jobs are set to be lost at a Goldthorpe factory with Kostal UK planning to cut their workforce by almost 13 per cent.
The management of Kostal UK, based at Goldthorpe Industrial Estate off Commercial Road, have advised employees the jobs are to go after the firm lost out on a lucrative contract.
The company manufactures electronic, electromechanical and mechatronic products.
Employees have been told that they can volunteer for redundancy before April 22 and after that the decisions on which jobs will go will be made by management.
