MOVE over Lord Sugar - little Reggie Cartwright could give the celebrity businessman a run for his money after raising £250 through a charity lemonade stall.

Reggie, five, came up with the idea after watching a video on the internet and asked his dad Robert, 33, if he could do the same.

He sold homemade lemonade and buns from a stand made by Robert, and raised a total of £253.37 for Barnsley Hospice.

Robert said: “We sold the lemonade for £1 but people were paying whatever they wanted. One man bought two lemonades and gave us £20.

“The amount we raised shocked us all. Reggie is pleased, he doesn’t really understand how much money is worth but he knows it is a lot and he is happy with that.”

Reggie ran the stall on Sunday, from 11am to 3pm, outside his nan Sharon Richards’s house on Ballfield Lane at Kexborough, and the good weather brought out lots of thirsty walkers and cyclists.

Robert added: “I’ve done charity work for the Barnsley Hospice before, I did the London to Paris bike ride a couple of years ago.

“We’ve not had any family members go there, but we’ve heard really good things about it and it’s next to Reggie’s school, Gawber Primary, which is why we know about it.”
