A LITTLE boy from Barnsley can travel in safety in the family car thanks to help from a charity.

Three-year-old Jude Bostock has an undiagnosed syndrome and will need to undergo testing until the condition is found - and his parents Mark and Emma Bostock have been told it might take years.

What they do know is he has global developmental delay meaning he cannot walk or talk, he has low muscle tone and very poor head control - Jude is also being tested for autism.

After visiting an occupational therapist they were told a standard car seat was dangerous for him because in an accident he could be at risk of breaking his neck due to his head flopping forward.

“We avoided going out if it wasn’t necessary,” said Mark, 51, of Parkland View, Cudworth.
