A LOCAL designer has showcased her skills at two national shows.
Gail Preece, of Batty Avenue, Cudworth, received the chance to showcase her costume-making skills at The Hampton Court Flower Show and The Great Yorkshire Show last month.
The 45-year-old, who is studying costume and textiles at the University of Huddersfield, partnered with classmate Rebecca Robinson to create a garden-inspired series of designs as part of a brief which was set by disinfectant brand Zoflora, which sponsored the two prestigious events.
