A MANUFACTURING company based in Barnsley is inviting local firms to the launch of a new academy run in conjunction with Barnsley College.
The Premdor Academy is designed to develop the knowledge of young people from the area and prepare them for a career with Premdor, a national manufacturer of timber doors based on Huddersfield Road.
Local engineering firms are invited to find more about the academy and the opportunities it offers for young people.
The launch takes place today at 1pm at Barnsley College’s STEM centre on Old Mill Lane.
