THE future is getting brighter for the Victorian Arcade - the ornate roof is getting a makeover.
The tired looking brick, glass and wrought iron canopy will be repaired, any broken or missing glass panes replaced and the framework given a fresh lick of paint.
Retailers in the arcade formed the Victorian Arcade Champions group before it was rebranded to reflect its historic heritage, and the work is part of the revamp.
