A MAN has appeared before Barnsley magistrates court today charged with the murder of 73-year-old Jill Hibberd.
Lee Trevor Fueloep, 40, of Willow Garth in Wombwell was charged with murder, burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. He has been remanded into custody until his next scheduled court appearance at Sheffield Crown Court at 2pm on Thursday.
Miss Hibberd was found dead at her Roy Kilner Road home at 7.45am on Thursday.
A post mortem examination concluded Jill died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
Officers are looking for a red Audi TT, registration number YM17 SYJ, which was taken from the driveway of Miss Hibberd’s home at around 9pm on Wednesday night.
