A 34-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with two counts of burglary after houses in the Bolton-on-Dearne and Kendray areas were broken into.

Matthew Philip Wiggett, of no-fixed-address, has been charged two counts of burglary and one count of theft of motor vehicle and one count of driving without insurance, relating to the break-in at the house in Bolton-on-Dearne.

Between April 30 and May 1, a house in The Crescent, Bolton-on-Dearne was broken into with bank-cards, cash, car keys and an iPad stolen.

On May 19, a house in Chestnut Crescent, Kendray, was also broken in to with electronic tablets and items stolen along with a handbag containing bank-cards and a car key.

Wiggett will appear before Barnsley Magistrate’s Court today.
