WATCHES valued at £10,000 have been stolen from a business premises on Carlton Industrial Estate.

Police have launched an appeal to identify a man who they believe could help with enquiries into the burglary which happened on November 17 at about 10.25pm at a business on Albion Road.

A total of 50 Timex watches worth a reported £10,000 were stolen from the premises.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to talk to in relation to the incident and police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have recently been offered a Timex watch for sale.

A 39-year-old man from Barnsley has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains on bail.

Anyone who recognises the man or has any information about the incident should call 101 quoting incident number 156 of November 18, 2015.
