SEVEN mums are doing seven marathons in seven days.

That is the challenge a group of runners have set themselves to help raise money to register a charity set up in memory of Barnsley teenager Daniel Binney.

His mum Trish Hall, of Queen's Drive, Dodworth, is setting up the charity called Dan's Helping Hand to help families pay funeral costs for young adults aged between 16 and 24.

Fleur Holland, 40, who runs the Dearne Valley Fit Mums and Friends running club has organised the challenge to help Trish achieve this, and to raise money for Bluebell Wood.

The challenge will see seven mums - Elizabeth Kidd, Caroline Cole, Gemma Mills, Stacey Hanley, Lorna Mee, Maria Cole and Fleur - clocking up 26.2 miles each day on gym equipment which records their distance.
