BARNSLEY’S five McDonald’s restaurants will reopen their drive-throughs next week following a successful pilot run by the fast food giant.
Branches on Old Mill Lane, Barnsley, Upper New Street, Barnsley, Wombwell Lane, Stairfoot and at the Wentworth and Cortonwood industrial parks will reopen by June 4.
A £25 spending limit has been set, and customers are asked to use contactless payment methods wherever possible.
In order to allow for social distancing measures, fewer employees will be in the kitchen and service areas.
