Barnsley midfielder Cameron McGeehan has signed a new contract with the Reds until 2021.

The 24-year-old was one of the stars of the Reds' promotion from League One, forming a formidable partnership with Alex Mowatt after breaking into the side in October due to Kenny Dougall's injury.

McGeehan is the third promotion star to extend his contract this summer after striker Cauley Woodrow and winger Jacob Brown. His new deal is a one-year extension to his previous contract.
