THE MEDIA company that worked with Barnsley Museums on a national advertising campaign has been shortlisted for a trio of industry awards.

Capital B Media, based at The Old Corn Mill in Millhouse Green, was behind the campaign to recruit a new miller at Worsbrough Mill.

The campaign was covered nationally on TV and radio and in print, and has led to the company being recognised by industry experts at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Director Kate Betts said: “This is a fantastic achievement and is down to the hard work of our talented team who should all feel incredibly proud.

“Last year we were lucky enough to be shortlisted for two CIPR awards and win gold for Best Publication, so to be finalists for three this year is a great feeling.”

Capital B Media is a finalist in three categories at the CIPR PRide Awards.

Its Worsbrough Mill campaign is shortlisted in the Arts, Culture and Sport, and Low Budget Campaign categories.

The company has also been nominated in the Best Publication category, for a report published on behalf of the charity Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK.
