ROCK legends Seventh Son have announced a rare local gig to raise money for charity.

The band is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a charity gig in town for Barnsley Hospice at the Underground bar under The Londoner pub on Thursday May 21. There will also be support bands and a raffle.

David Clayton from the Underground said: "It's good stuff. Seventh Son have not played in Barnsley for years and we have been trying to get them on for ages."

Tickets are available by calling 07896 246717. Doors open on the night at 7.30pm.
