League One clubs Rotherham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers will take on Barnsley in pre-season friendlies this summer.
The Reds will host relegated Wolves on Saturday, July 20 then travel to newly-promoted Rotherham's New York Stadium seven days later.
Conference North side Harrogate Town have announced on their website that they will host the Reds on July 13 but Barnsley have no knowledge of the fixture.
The Reds are looking to arrange some more friendlies against lower league opposition and are hopeful of organising a game against a Premier League team later in the summer.
The squad have been given fitness programmes for the summer and will return for pre-season on June 24 then travel to Spain for a week-long training camp.
