A PROJECT that will see £1million pumped into Thurnscoe over the next ten years is underway - but more people are needed to help oversee the money being spent.
Lottery funded project Big Local Thurnscoe conducted a survey with residents in the village about what improvements they would like to see.
They used the feedback to come up with a ten year plan which has been approved. Improvements can now be made as the first batch of funding - about £50,000 - is in the account of Voluntary Action Barnsley (VAB) on behalf of Big Local Thurnscoe.
