THE St John Ambulance Barnsley unit is recruiting adult volunteer first aiders to begin training in May.
The charity provides first aid cover at all Barnsley FC home games, at numerous community events and at Barnsley Hospice and other local charity events.
It also provides cover at numerous regional and national events including concerts and races.
“We are very keen to inform as many people as possible about the work we do and the recruitment drive we are conducting in Barnsley,” said unit manger Christopher Hogg.
“We provide free training and uniform and there is numerous opportunities for progression in the organisation.”
