Motorcyclist seriously injured in Darfield collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 25-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision in Darfield.
At around 4.40pm on Monday, it is reported that the man, riding a red and black Honda motorcycle, was in collision with a silver Citroen C5 in Saltersbrook Road.
The man was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries. The 72-year-old man driving the Citroen was not injured.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 758 of April 14, 2014.
