Barnsley midfielder Alex Mowatt has been rewarded for his outstanding performances this season with a new contract.
The 23-year-old, whose old deal was due to run out next summer, has penned a contract until 2020 with the club having an option to add another year.
Mowatt has started every League One game this season for the third-placed Reds, scoring two stunning long-range goals.
