A SUPER-FIT mum has been crowned a Miss Galaxy Universe fitness model champion.
Nicky Boylin, a 40-year-old mum of two from Stainborough, chose to enter the competition specifically because it judges females not just on their figures- but also their strength and fitness.
Competitors not only parade in bikinis and glitzy evening dresses, but also take part in fitness drills.
She first entered the contest last year and was delighted to be placed third in her category (models over 35) and seventh overall.
This year she did even better winning her category outright and being placed fifth overall and admits she was ‘chuffed and delighted’.
