Police are investigating the alleged murder of a 35-year-old woman from Darfield, Barnsley.
Officers were called to an address on Upperwood Road, Darfield on Monday at about 4.22pm.
A 35-year-old woman was found dead and a 42-year-old man was found with stabbing injuries and taken to hospital, where he is being treated. He is said to be in a stable condition.
The 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in hospital.
