BARNSLEY’S Bob Pitts is going places after being named as the safest bus driver in the country at a national transport industry awards event.
Bob, who works out of Stagecoach’s Barnsley depot, is the Road Operators Safety Council Safe Driver of the Year.
He picked up the accolade at the UK Bus Awards 2015 in recognition of 37 years of safe driving.
