KIND-HEARTED neighbours raised hundreds of pounds for motor neurone sufferer Ian Pratt, who is adapting his house as his condition worsens.

Ian, 46, is converting his home on Newhill Road, Monk Bretton, to accommodate his needs, as he can no longer get upstairs or into certain rooms.

He has had a downstairs bedroom and wet room built for him and his wife Catherine, 46, which they have just moved into.

The conversion could cost up to £50,000 so to help, neighbours Christine Wormald and Linda Stephenson organised a raffle which raised more than £600.
