A MUM who suffered the heartbreak of being told her daughter had leukaemia TWICE has said she is now filled with hope after a bone marrow donor ‘gave her a chance’.

Little Jess Stocks will be two next week and has spent almost all of this year in hospital.

But now she’s finally back at home in Dodworth with mum Mel Stocks after her bone marrow transplant operation went well, and Mel has been told it gives her daughter a ‘50 to 60 per cent chance’ of making a full recovery.

“She’s here, and I am just so grateful I can’t explain it, because of this guy, some 23-year-old from somewhere in the UK who donated bone marrow. It’s given her a chance.”
