POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a nine-year-old girl was knocked off her bike following a collision in Kendray.
The girl is said to have been riding her bike at the side of St Andrew’s Church on Gerald Road just before 12.50pm on Sunday when she was involved in a collision with a Citroen Xsara.
The car was travelling towards Barnsley.
The girl was taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where it was confirmed she had a broken leg.
