HERE'S a blast from the past- a photograph showing Barnsley railway station back in 1958.
It is one of many that will be featured in an illustrated talk given for the Friends of Barnsley Archives by avid rail enthusiast David Green.
David, a retired police insector, was born in Barnsley in 1942 and from a young age became a keen train spotter.
He will be giving his illustrated talk in Barnsley town hall on Monday July 13 starting at 7pm.
