NUISANCE and anti-social behaviour hot spots in Cudworth and Grimethorpe have been flagged up by local residents.

The concerns were raised at a Cudworth PACT and these areas have now been made 'PACT priorities', which means there will be a higher presence of safer neighbourhood officers in the area until December, when new priorities are decided on.

The following streets in Cudworth have been highlighted for high levels of antisocial behaviour: A section of Barnsley Road, Rose Tree Avenue, Almond Avenue, Sycamore Avenue, Willow Close, Carlton Street, Robert Street (including the allotments), Bank Street, Bloemfontein Street, Jackson Street, Crown Avenue, Southfield Road, Acre Road, Pleasant View, Meadow Avenue, Hollins Wood Grove, Storrs Wood View, Birkwood Avenue, Belmont, Emsley Avenue, Stanley Street and a section of Darfield Road.

Some streets in the white city area of Grimethorpe including Cemetery Road, Chestnut Street, Woodland Terrace, Ladywood Road, The Square, Nancy Road, Nancy Crescent, Cross Street, Oak Street, Poplar Street, Sycamore Avenue and Burntwood Road have been identified and will be targeted.
