DEARNE Valley College has improved from 'satisfactory' to 'good' according to Ofsted's inspectors.

The Manvers-based college was deemed to be good in its outcomes for learners, the quality of its teaching and learning and also the effectiveness of its leadership and management.

Principal and Chief Executive Martin Harrison said: "I am delighted the report recognises the key milestones the college has achieved since our last inspection in 2011."
